AI telephony: every call answered, resolved and on record

Every call, answered and resolved.

When the phone rings and nobody is free, the call is lost. And when someone does pick up, it is often to answer the same question for the tenth time, look up a price, transfer the call to another extension or jot a message on paper. The customer waits, the rep never finds out and nothing gets recorded.

The nBlock Telephony block puts AI on your whole company line. It answers every call and resolves what it can on its own: it answers with your company information, checks the catalog, logs sales requests and, when it recognizes the customer, works with their purchases and history. Whatever needs a person goes to the right one by your rules, or becomes a follow-up task. It connects to your phone system over SIP and every call is left with its transcript and metrics.

Challenge

Calls get lost or half handled: the same questions over and over, prices looked up by hand, transfers that go nowhere and messages on a piece of paper.

Solution

AI on your whole phone line: it answers every call, gives your company information, checks the catalog and the customer’s history, logs requests, routes what needs a person and leaves a transcript and metrics.

Impact

Every call answered and resolved, or with an owner and a follow-up.

  • Answers, informs and resolves every call
  • Catalog and customer history during the call
  • Routing, follow-ups and metrics per call

How it works on your ERP

  1. Step 1

    Connects to your phone system

It connects to your company phone system over SIP. It answers incoming calls and, when a call has to go to a person, transfers it to the right extension.

  2. Step 2

    Answers and resolves

It talks to the caller, understands the reason and answers with your company information: branches, hours, payments, shipping, returns or warranties. It checks the catalog, logs sales requests and, for customers, works with their purchases, history and recommendations.

  3. Step 3

    Routes by your rules

You define ordered rules: which area or rep gets each type of call, whether it goes to the customer’s own rep or rotates, and a fallback destination when nobody is available.

  4. Step 4

    Leaves everything on record

Each call is saved with its transcript, the actions taken and the follow-up tasks assigned to the rep. A dashboard shows calls, minutes, routed, missed and pending follow-ups.

Where it is used

Calls that used to be lost

A customer calls just when everyone is busy or out in the field. The AI answers, resolves what it can and, if a person is needed, leaves the task assigned so someone gets back to them.

The usual questions, answered

Hours, addresses, payment methods, shipping, returns and warranties: the AI answers with your company information and takes repeated questions off your team.

Product and account questions

Someone asks whether a product is available or what they bought last time. The AI looks it up in your catalog and the customer’s history during the call, without waiting for a rep to free up.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to change my phone system?

No. Telephony connects to your phone system over SIP and, when a call has to go to a person, it transfers it to an extension. The phone system stays yours.

What can it resolve without a person?

It answers with your company information, checks the catalog, logs sales requests and works with the customer’s purchases and history. Whatever needs someone on your team gets routed or becomes a task.

What happens if nobody is available?

It takes the message and creates a follow-up task assigned to the right rep, linked to that call. That way there is an owner and the customer gets an answer, instead of a note that gets lost.

Can I review what happened on each call?

Yes. Each call is saved with its transcript and actions, and counts toward the metrics: calls, minutes, routed, missed and pending follow-ups. History is kept for 30 days.

How is it different from a phone menu?

A menu makes the caller choose between categories that do not always match what they need, and it resolves nothing. Telephony talks to the caller, understands the reason, answers what it can and routes the rest by your rules.
